Description
Angle grinders have long been used by woodworkers and metalworkers for grinding, cutting and polishing. These tools, which operate at extremely high speeds (10,000 RPM and higher), are some of the most aggressive power tools on the market. In the past, they were rarely used for sanding, because the abrasives performed poorly and changing them required wrenches, which interrupted workflow. In an effort to expand the usage of these powerful tools, NY has invented an entire new line of abrasives and a unique new method for changing discs. The adapter allows users to switch quickly and easily between a variety of abrasive discs-without using a wrench. Now a 4-Inch or 4-1/2-Inch angle grinder can become a versatile sanding tool capable of handling a wide range of sanding tasks. 3M SandBlaster 4.5-Inch clean-n-strip disc can be used on many surfaces and are great for removing and cleaning rust, paint and many other coatings.
